A Helping Hand

After both my parents lost their jobs this last summer, they ended up on a downward spiral that put them into a pile of debt.  They owed money to family members, banks, and they even sold a lot of what they owned.  There was just no one around who could give them any debt advice.  I felt terrible, so my wife and I decided to let them move in with us and sell their house.  This covered all of what they owed, and also gave them a little bit left over to start looking at a smaller house.  It was the least we could do.
