Thoughts On “Republicans Call for Weiner to Resign”
Much more serious than Weiner’s adolescent sexual behavior is the question of his wife, Huma Abedin. She is the most intimate aid and assistant to the American Secretary of State, but she is a Moslem whose father was an Islamic scholar and who was raised from the age of 2 in Saudi Arabia until she went to college at Georgetown. Given the violent religious bigotry that is the very essence of the doctrines of Islam which her father was a scholar of and whose views of Islam must have been approved by the Saudi Islamic regime, you can imagine what kind of please advice Abedin is giving to our Secretary of State about the Moslem world. Abedin says that she is Moslem. What does that mean? Is her loyalty to the Koran, as it must be for all religious Moslems? Or is it to America? It is either one or the other because the Koran and the sayings of Muhammad which Abedin must consider to be sacred are totally incompatible with the American constitution. This is a very dangerous situation, and we should not be fooled by Abedin’s good looks and intelligence. How in the world did she ever get security clearance?
