Working With Your Mortgage Originator

Purchasing a home and getting a mortgage are probably two of the biggest financial decisions most people make during their lifetime. Depending on which Bond Originators you are dealing with, there are a wide variety of options and choices to choose from. For example, what term will your mortgage be for? Thirty years? Fifteen years? Also, what about interest rates, will your rate be fixed or variable? If it’s variable, what’ the basis for the adjustment? Also, it is important to obtain the best possible rate for your financing. Since the mortgage is most likely going to be your largest debt it makes sense to pay the minimum amount possible in interest charges. It’s important for you to work closely with your mortgage originator to ensure all of your questions are answered before moving forward.
