A Berlitz Spanish review

The reason I decided to try Berlitz Spanish is because of a Berlitz Spanish review that I read. The reviewer talked about how the program contained audio of conversation in spanish and how those conversation were really helpful for him to learn the art of holding a conversation. I totally understood what he meant because my biggest fear of learning spanish was how to put it all together into a conversation. I ordered this program and I am very happy so far. Listening to the conversations has made me feel much more comfortable and I am picking up spanish rater quickly.

Estate Appraisals means… Fair Market Value

Going through probate and settling an estate is an important and very  stressful job. If you have been named as an executor you have been entrusted to carry out the wishes of the decedent in a manner that complies with laws and hopefully the wishes of beneficiaries. Settling an estate usually requires an estate appraisal to establish Fair Market Value for both personal the residential property. involved. Often, the date of death differs from the date the estate appraisal is requested.  The ethics provision of estate appraisals through the the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) binds  estate appraisals with confidentiality. Privacy and sensitivity is always important in such matters.

Learning From Home

I tried to go off to college, but I had a problem going away from home.  I loved being near family, and leaving to go to college was just not for me.  However, I wanted to get my degree.

I signed up for the university of phoenix online degree.  I knew that this would be perfect for me.  I could stay near family, and still work hard in my studies.

The other benefit is the fact that I can help my parents take care of my grandmother.  I know that this is the best thing that could happen for us.  I am able to work on my classes and help my family.

Better To Be Safe Than Sorry: Prepare Yourself For The Notary Exam

I am a practicing attorney in the state of California, and I have been directed by the law firm I currently work for to take the Notary Exam. I think I can adequately prepare myself by getting a copy of the Notary Public Handbook and reading it several times to familiarize myself with the laws, but I think I will take it a step futher and ask my firm to pay for a class that I can take to prepare me for the exam. While I am confident that I can pass the exam on my own, I would rather be safe than sorry.

Keeping A Wary Eye On Your Credit Score

Many people are very surprised about the fact that they can now get a free credit report once a year. The standard way to get one was to shell out about 20 bucks to the credit reporting agencies to get the low down on your current credit score. It was either that or get surprised when you go to buy a car on credit and find your credit score is lower than most peoples IQ score. Having a firm grip on what your credit score is will help you to know what you can and cannot afford if and when you go to buy something like a car or a house on credit.

My best childcare option

I am a working mom and I need to do something to figure out how to get my kids involvoed with other kids. I really need to work to make sure we have enough food on the table, and I can pay all my bills, but I am starting to realize that my kids need more time with me. I want to be the best mom I can be, so I am thinking about staying home with them, and need to know how to start a daycare. I know it doesn’t pay a lot, but I wouldn’t have to pay anyone else to watch my kids.

Psychology Degrees: Neuropsychology

Studying the brain processes and being able to connect them with behaviors, is an amazing science to me.

That can really get to the nitty gritty of things. I would really like to study this field, and get a neuropsychology degree.

In order to do this, I first have to get my PhD or PsyD for which I am currently studying. I think I will go into this specialty as specializing is nearly always beneficial to anyone concerned.

I love psychology, and I really enjoy the research and writing I am doing right now for the class. I would imagine specializing would really challenge me.

Legal T.V.

I have become a big fan of T.V. shows which revolve around crime solving.

And true crime is really interesting.

There are the shows in which someone fabulously rich and happy suddenly decides to poison their spouse. Or there are the unexplained mysteries featuring the disappearance or death of an everyday person - out of the blue.

But the fascinating part is the process used by police to solve the crimes.

They use all sorts of methods, including psychics, to locate suspects. When running background checks they often find arrest records, which narrows down the search.

An arrest often follows and then the courtroom drama begins.

Time and again I’ve watched a show start with a crime scene and end with justice, and I’m just as hooked on the legal process as ever.

Making out names spelled in hebrew

You’re feeling woozy, disoriented. Are you coming or going? What country are you in? On which side of the street are people driving? You stare at the scribbling on the piece of paper held limply in your hand and wonder what in heck you got yourself into. Your only clue is that you are holding a list of names … names spelled in hebrew… Think … THINK. Hebrew … OK. Remember your Bible teachings. Hebrew goes right to left, not left to right… Just like when you were in Japan. Drive on the left side of the road, right? No … left? Right? Left. OK. Got it. Pull out a Bible … King James version … Exodus 6:3 … YES! There it is … the most famous name, spelled in Hebrew, of all time: YHWH. Can you top that? Nope. Toss that piece of paper away. Who needs it now?

What did birdwatchers do BEFORE BINOCULARS?

What did birdwatchers do BEFORE birding binoculars? Well there are many answers to that question too.  In short, they adapted.  Early spotting scopes that were used by seagoing vessels were relatively easy to obtain. However they are long and heavy and hard to keep steady.

So during the early years of exploring North America, colonial naturalists, like Bartram and Wilson and Audubon, actually captured or shot the birds they wanted to examine or study.

That sounds antithetical today and cruel but given the fact that these explorers were working with primitive instruments and their goal was to identify these birds it seemed to be their best choice.

It was the right thing to do

I had to tell a potential employer about my past the other day. I was hoping that I would not have to let him know, but he asked very particular questions that led me to exposing my past. I had been involved in something that I was not very proud of. I had helped a friend steal some money from a co-worker years ago. I ended up coming clean right after it happened. But that incident is written on my criminal records and I wanted him to know the truth. I didn’t want him to have to go finding it himself.
