Arch pain

Arch pain, a common problem in the foot, is commonly caused by plantar fasciitis, which is a strain of the long ligament holding up the arch of the foot. But it is also caused by strains of other ligaments, tendons as well as joint strains which are due to poor foot alignment or biomechanics, high levels of activity, obesity and walking on hard surfaces with poor shoes. Arch pain is treated using some sort of foot support or foot orthotic, weight loss, physical therapies and drugs.
