Benefits for going on a raw food detox diet
I am looking to find out more benefits to doing a raw food detox diet. From my reading and understanding of articles I found on-line the theory is that there are enzymes found in raw foods that are necessary for our bodies to absorb to combat against the many toxins found in our atmosphere. Supposedly going on this diet strengthens your immune system and makes you less vulnerable to diseases. I am wondering what proof is out there to support these claims and hear anybody’s personal testimonies on the effects this diet had in their life and how long they stayed on it. In my reading I found people who have made this diet their lifestyle, which seems a bit much.
