Fluorescent Light Bulbs Save Energy
Do you think that your monthly utility bills are so expensive that they are getting out of control? Look around your house. If you still see regular or incandescent light bulbs at home, I can almost bet that those light bulbs are causing your utility bills to sky rocket. There is a filament tungsten in the middle of those regular light bulbs. When electricity flows through the filament, it heats it up and the heat is converted into light. Since not all heat is used in the process, excess heat that is not used is wasted. Hence, it is time to use fluorescent light bulb to replace the old incandescent ones. Unlike regular light bulbs, they are more energy effiecient because chemical reaction between photon and phosphor, not heat, is used to produce light.
