I’ve been thinking about a career in engineering but I wanted to speak with someone who was already in the field before I made that decision. My older cousin has been an engineer for nearly 15 years now so I wanted to get his take on the field and see if he could offer me a real sense of direction. I asked him what it was that made him decide to become an engineer. He told me that he had taken an instrumentation training course in high school. After taking the course and acing his finals he knew he enjoyed it and would continue to pursue it.
