She Was Tired
She was tired. She felt like she couldn’t take this much longer. She was a single mom in a difficult situation in her life. She couldn’t seem to get the industrial training she needed to get that higher paying job. And she didn’t even know if she really should try for that job, since it would be taking so much more of her time. And, being a single mom, she needed time with her little girl to be just a mom. She didn’t want her little girl to feel the stress and worry that was on her mind, so she left it all on the shelf and went to read her the bedtime story.
