ABC in breeding discus

It’s funny how people think breeding discus is whole lot tiring.  It’s as easy as ABC.  A = Amazon river-like environment.  They live well in warm, soft, and acidic waters.  Maintain aquarium that way and frequent water changes will pave more mating activity and help increase appetite.  B = Bloodworm and White worm: definitely good.  B = black worm is never their food.  When they begin to have eggs, C = Count for days and consider independence.  Eggs usually hatch after 48 hours then become free-swimming fry after 72 hours.  The fry can be fed by parents for several weeks but it is better for them to be independent by moving them into a new tank.
