Atheists have asked why it isn’t enough just to say that Jesus was a good man and accomplished lots of good things. The fact is, that either Jesus was lying, he was crazy, or he was who he said he was. He wasn’t crazy, and he can’t have been a good man if he was lying. That means he was telling the truth. Especially in mormon doctrine, with all that has been revealed about the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is vital to each of us that Jesus was who he said he was. In order for us to be saved, we need to realize that Jesus was more than a good man.
