What To Do To Replace Your Stolen Passport

The first thing you need to do when you’ve confirmed a Stolen Passport is to report it to the local police, Passport Canada or the nearest Canadian Government office in your area. They will then instruct you of what you need to do in order to replace your stolen passport. This includes completing the required application forms, providing new passport photos, paying the appropriate fees, providing evidence of your Canadian citizenship and presenting a Statutory Declaration affirming that your passport was stolen. The authorities will then conduct an investigation, which may or may not take some time, before issuing you with a replacement passport.
